Crude oil futures automation for NinjaTrader 8

All5s trades Micro WTI Crude Oil (MCL) futures in the late-morning session. It is the strictest Venzitech strategy: all five DASIG readings must point the same way before it enters.

The strategy

All5s: five readings, one decision

MCL

All5s

Crude oil is choppy, so All5s asks for more confirmation than any other Venzitech strategy. It reads the Vortex line, Ange190, the long line, the slow line and the trend squares, and only acts when all five agree.

  • Fewer trades, stricter filter
  • Late-morning window after the open settles
  • Long and short

Why automate it

Crude oil punishes guesswork. All5s waits.

WTI crude oil reacts to supply news, inventories and global headlines. It can trend hard or whip back and forth in the same hour.

Requiring five separate DASIG readings to agree filters out a lot of that noise. When All5s does trade, the stop and target from its template go in immediately.

Micro crude (MCL) is one tenth the size of the standard CL contract, which keeps the risk in line with the other strategies on the account. How the shared risk guard works.

Crude oil automation questions

What are the five readings All5s uses?

The DASIG Vortex line, Ange190, the long line, the slow line and the trend squares. The exact settings are part of the licensed strategy.

Does All5s trade the Wednesday inventory report?

The EIA inventory report comes out at 10:30 AM ET on most Wednesdays, inside the All5s window. Crude can move sharply then; slippage is possible on fast moves even with a bracket attached.

Why does All5s trade less often than the other strategies?

Because it needs all five readings to agree. That is the point: fewer, more confirmed trades in a market that is often choppy.
